I run Bayleafmedia as a micro agency that specialises in the development of Umbraco / ASP.NET based websites and applications for both agencies and busineses. I work with clients of all sizes from SME's to corporates and goverment bodies.

History

I founded Bayleafmedia in 2012. I've been developing websites since the late 90's, ASP.NET since 2005 and specifically Umbraco for the past 9 years.

Approach

As senior full stack developer, I take the technical lead in all of my projects, and in most cases will carry out the entire project from start to finish.

When extra resources are needed, I hire the required skills from a small pool of talented individuals that I've worked with before. I know these people well and can trust they'll do a great job.

I base everything I do around 10 golden rules, they drive all my decisions and direct my approach to work.

Over the years, experience has shown me that even with the best standards in place, unless the work is carried out with the right mindset, problems can still occur.

My golden rules help to ensure that:

  • I have a great working relationship with my clients.
  • I fully understand what the client requires.
  • I deliver a solid, well engineered, quality website that I'm proud of and my clients love.
